FB Paddle Racing, Inc. is a non-profit entity primary purpose is to organize the French Broad Classique every April; click here for information on the French Broad Classique. FB Paddle Racing also attempts to foster competition in all types of paddle sports racing by providing the information below.
On June 21, 2014, FB Paddle Racing will host the United States Canoe Association's National Stock Aluminum Canoe Marathon Championships. This event will also include USCA's National Championships for Downriver Kayaks (ICF Wildwater specifications). There will be a pro boat race the next day. For more information, CLICK HERE
Just a few days before our Aluminum Canoe Nationals, the American Canoe Association's Whitewater Open Canoe Downriver National Championships will be contested on the nearby Nantahala River. FB Paddle Racing has been the organizer of that event on two prior occassions and will be involved in 2014 as well. Because the events are close to each other and the dates have been coordinated, it is quite possible for competitors to attend both races For more information on the ACA's WWOCD Nationals, CLICK HERE.

FB Paddle Racing was also the sponsor for both the 2008 American Canoe Association White Water Open Canoe Downriver National Championships held on Section 9 of the French Broad near Hot Springs, North Carolina, and the 2012 American Canoe Association White Water Open Canoe Downriver National Championships held on the Nantahala River near Bryson City, North Carolina.
